I am Rose, half of MamaRose Gifts and More. The other half is my daughter, Sandy. This is a family run website.

A short note: I have sold my house and moved in with my daughter. It took longer than I expected to get moved and settled. I am afraid I have neglected this website and the Chocolate Gravy Bulletin. I am back at it now and have been working to get the website updated and sent out a couple of the Bulletins to my subscribers (see Contact page for information to subscribe).

Our content is meant to be family oriented and suitable for any age. My grandchildren (their picture is on the right) are the most precious things to me and I wouldn't want to create anything that I wouldn't want them to use.

We now have a Kid's Stuff page. It is a little skimpy right now but, as I check them out, I will add more. I have a big list to check out but I don't want to list any before I am sure about them. The ones listed right now are some that my granddaughter uses.

I know this is of great concern to parents and grandparents. There are so many unfit sites on the internet, we all fear that our children will be exposed to them.

You can be assured that the sites I list on that page will have been thoroughly checked. Part of the sites will be fun, part educational (& I hope fun, too).


We had been planning and discussing a website for a good while. I had one in 2001 but when I started working 50+ hours in the job I had at that time, I couldn't do both. I closed down the website. I am now unemployed. We decided now was the time to do it again.

In March 2004, we opened for business here at MamaRose Gifts and More. We hope you like what we have done with the place and will come back for frequent visits. Better still, bookmark our site for easier return visits.

We are always open to suggestions. If you have something that we can use, such as recipes, articles, patterns or anything else, we will publish it if it is appropriate, with a byline if you wish.

If you have a website, this would get you a little advertising plus a link to your site. If your website is appropriate to our content, contact us about exchanging links.

(hope to start this back soon with a whole new look. The form on the contact us page doesn't work at this time) We are now publishing our first newsletter, Chocolate Gravy Bulletin. Sign up for it on our Contact Us page. It contains recipes, tips. trivia, quotes and humor. We are always looking for content and would appreciate submissions. Once again, we will use your byline.

When you sign up you get a url to download my 2 MamaRose cookbooks. Anyone who already owns one or both of the cookbooks can contact me and I will have another gift for them.

I am publishing Chocolate Gravy every other week. I also occasionally send out offers that some of my listings are running. These will not come out any more than once a week.

I have consolidated the 2 craft pages into one and added an Online Shopping for the Entire Family page. I am also gathering information for the Kids Stuff page.

We have many plans for the future, including some other websites that are now in the planning stages. If you don't find something you would like to see, let us know. We are always open to suggestions and requests. Just email us with questions, suggestions, remarks, complaints, and, of course, we want to hear any compliments.
